In the absence of an agreement to the contrary, child support in Maryland stops when a child turns 18; provided, however, that if an 18-year-old is still in high school, child support continues until high school graduation or the child's 19th birthday, whichever occurs first. The answer is set forth in Article 1, Section 24 of the Annotated Code of Maryland.
