Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

My divorce decree states my ex has to inform me of when he would like his summer vacation weeks no later than May 1st. This year he decided to wait until July 20th. Can I deny his request as it interfers with plans I made?

Legally, yes. But if this causes him to go to court, it would be best to try and work it out between the two of you if at all possible. If there is no time left between now and the beginning of the school year that works, perhaps you could suggest trying to make up for it over holiday periods, weekends or breaks during the school year. Make sure you document all exchanges.
