Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Divorce filing forms

I would like to file for divorce. My husband and I have been separated for over 3 years. I'm interested in getting the necessary forms online and filing myself, without getting a lawyer.

We have not lived together for over 3 years, are separating by mutual consent and have no children. Our house has already been sold, and all financial issues have been resolved.

What forms will I need?

Thank you for your help.

Re: Divorce filing forms

Maryland courts do not use "forms" to file for divorce. There may be some standardized pleadings that you could find if you do a web search. An attorney such as myself could prepare the papers for you that would meet all the legal requirements and "walk" you through the process so that you could handle it on your own at a very modest cost.
