my husband and i have been together 22 years married 13. no kids.everything is in his name. i found out recently he bought property with his money n put it in his sisters name. he says i am not 2 have anything. his sister lives in our basement n they both verbally abuse me. i am a stay home wife n he wont even give me money 4 basic needs. what can i do.

The general rule regarding marital property is that anything acquired during the marriage using marital funds is considered marital property subject to equitable division. Regarding money for basic needs, if you are able to work, you should consider getting a job to earn your own money. If you are unable to work, you may be eligible for disability benefits.
