Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

divorce, Richard Sher

But what if the wife tries to ask for Alimony when she is the one that has decided to leave the family? Even though she hasn't actually left, since she wants the husband to do it first. If it is under constructive desertion, would she be granted alimony?

Her decision to leave the family will not likely result in a decision that will benefit her against the better good of the needs of the family. If you are not getting along with your wife then several choices exist. Alimony is separate from child support. Contact me to discuss your situation.
