Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

In my divorce it states that my son's father, the non-custodial parent, will provide health insurance for my son. He now has a new family, all of which on on his plan, and a deductible. Upon going to the pharmacy to pick up my son's ADHD meds, the copay was much higher than usual, due to the deductible. I am wondering if it is my responsability to pay the deductible or his? I really don't want to be responsible for paying the deductible for his entire family in order for my son to receive his meds!

You may need to go back to court and request a modification to further define "provide health insurance". You will argue that includes deductibles. Your ex will argue against. Shame on him.

Best of luck.*****The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
