Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

In a divorce does a wife have the legal right to live in the home for 3 years if the house was purchased prior to marriage and if the names on the deed are the husband and both his parents divided equally. Also to note, since the original purchase his father paid off the mortgage. Can she be evicted with a 30 day written notice from his father? ( the outright owner)

Thank you.

I assume you don't have children because you didn't mention them. You also didn't state if your husband paid rent or had a lease with his parents.

In any event, if you are a holdover tenant, the father has to formally evict you. Moreover, he has to give you proper notice under the law before hand. If you don't want to hire a lawyer, read the following information
