my wife and i have been seperated since 10-07 i rented a storage unit and put all my things in it -cloths,furniture,etc.. she asked if she could put some of her things in it and i said yes biut now i am closing the unit and cannot call her because of a court order do i just leave her things in it or will i get in trouble for that

You will need to somehow notify her (email, letter, third party) so she can retrieve her belongings or take over renting the unit. If you don't do this and leave her things there, they will be discarded by the storage company.
