Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I am divorced and have a child custody agreement on file. My situation has changed and have taken a 10% pay cut. Do I need a lawyer to get the child care numbers changed when I go to court or will the court decide the proper amount of child care owed?

You need to run the child support guidelines using current income information, as well as other guideline factors, to determine if your income decrease constitutes a significant change in circumstances justifying an increase in support. You should also take discovery to prepare for your ex's presentation. Can you do this on your own? The court won't do it for you.
