Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I am getting divorced and am moving out with my 3 year old. But the budget is tight! Can I get a 1 bedroom apartment and share the bedroom with her? She would have her own bed and space. Or does she legally need her own room?

No, we're not that much of a nanny state yet. But if there is any kind of custody dispute between you and your soon-to-be-ex, you can be sure that your living arrangements will be brought to the attention of the court. Obviously as your daughter gets older you will want to rethink this arrangement.
