Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I am divorced with a 6 year old son. My ex and I have joint custody but I have primary physical custody. He moved about 30 minutes from where we live about 2 months ago. He insists that I should help him in seeing our son by meeting him half way. I disagree. It is not my responsibilty to make sure he sees his son it is his. Why should he have say over my life and what I do by insisting that I meet him. He chose to move 2 counties away from his son. Am I thinking correctly?

Sincerely,

Lisa

Legally, if there isn't a provision in the order regarding place of drop off/pick up, you have no obligation to drop your son off or pick him up. Nevertheless, you may want to come to some type of agreement to avoid the risk of having to pay for an attorney to resolve this dispute.
