Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
Eligibility to Adoption
Thanks for the reply for my last post. When you mentioned I need to convience the Judge I will stay permanently. What kind of document or how should I do that? And is it true that if I express any desire to return to my home country, not immediately, but in a few years time, the Judge will reject and turn down the finalization?

Re: Eligibility to Adoption
The obvious way to deal with this issue is simply to tell the judge, if asked, that you intend to make this your permanent residence. If you've officially applied for permanent residence, the documentation would be useful. Other evidence--length of residence or employment at the same place.
