Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Emergency Family Maintaince

I was ordered to pay EFM for 1 year. The estranged wife has relocated, leaving no forwarding address. Can I file a motion to Dismiss, based on the fact I do not have an address to send payment to?

You can file a motion, but most likely the court will have you pay the money into the court registry. Or you could just stop making payments and wait to see if she surfaces. Unless the order to pay EFM was contingent on her remaining in this area (unlikely), her moving isn't sufficient grounds for forfeiting payment.
