how does a father loose rights to his children

Have friend that has lose the rights of his children they are in foster care and the mother is no where to be found and wants nothing to with her children, how does a father get his children back in his custody

The father can file a petition in court for custody. He should be prepared to demonstrate to the court that he is a fit parent, capable of providing for the children's support, and has the necessary living accommodations and care plan for them. If he is serious about this, he should retain an experienced family law attorney to represent him in this matter.
