If my father is having memory problems

If a woman is living in his home and is trying pretend that she is married to my father and she is not and have done things like change her name on diffent things like magazines stuff that my dad does not pay attention to can I apply for guardinship over him if he seems to be confused and is having difficulty remembering one day from another and she does things like turn the phone ringer off so he can't receive phone calls.

You can, and it sounds like you better take action in case she is trying to get him to sign over his property or give her access to his financial assets. If he were still mentally competent you could try and get him to give you a power of attorney, but it sounds like he may be past that. You should try and talk to his doctor about that. Otherwise you'll have to file a court petition for guardianship of his person and property in the circuit court of the county where he lives. You'll need current statements from 2 doctors that he's not competent to support your petition.
