Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
My fiance, ex-wife calls their children 3 to 4 times a day when he has them. If they don't pick up or return her calls she will text or call me and say she is going to call her attorney to say I'm denying her access. Here recently her brother called CPS because she had a live Rooster and doves in her 3 bedroom with 5 children and 2 adults. The children are now saying the house is filthy and they don't want to return. What is his legal recourse? Additionally; she says my 14 year old son has possible sexual thoughts about their daughter. This situation is becoming unbearable.
After finding the brother called Child Protective Services, the local police were called, and the apartment complex was called. She is unreasonable, once I had the kids and because I wouldn't speak to her will driving she said she was going to call the police that I had kidnapped the children. Making an appointment with family counselor.

Your fiancee can file a petition to modify custody. If he can demonstrate to the court that it would be in the best interests of the children to live with him, or at least the majority of the time with him, he has a good chance of succeeding. He should hire an experienced family lawyer if he is serious about extricating the children from this situation.
