Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Want to file for divorce & sale house

I want to file for divorce from my husband of 2 years. We both want a divorce. He will not leave. I purchased the house before we got married. I am sole owner of the house and make all the house payments from my income. The utilities are in my name also. Husband has occasionally given me money for their payment. He is not sharing in the financial obligations of our marriage. I have a higher income than husband, but he is not providing financial support, except for a $70-$100 utility bill sometimes. He brings home $2100 per mo. We have a 3mo.old daughter together, who I alone provide for financially (diapers, formula, clothing, daycare). Husband's 15 y.o. son from another marriage came to live with us 6 mos. ago and it seems like I'm providing for all of his needs instead of his father. Though I am not in fear of violence, husband has history of misdemeanor assault conviction. He is seeking a compensation claim for post traumatic stress disorder from the US Veterans Affairs. I want to safely stay in my house until it sales. (I haven't put it on the market yet.) How do I go about a divorce under these circumstances? Will I have to share any sales proceeds/pay alimony to husband because of my higher income?
