financial responsibilities

married when daughter 3 years old. married for 6 years. had quit job, had to get new job. husband left, lost house, repossion, bankruptcy, foreclosure, resulted. not legally separted for 3 years. husband gives money occasonially. question? is husban responsible in any way for any expenses, alimony, support for child, not adopted. 1st husband, insemented, he stated wasn't his and left when 61/2 mo pregnant. when divorced, lawyer advised not to say there were any children from the marriage. is there any recourse from either failures?

It's difficult to answer your question, frankly because of the jumbled way you stated it. You might want to resend your question, using more clearly worded language.

If your ex is proven to be the child's father, he is responsible for paying child support. Md uses guidelines based on the parents' income to determine the amount each must contribute to the support of the child. As for alimony, apparently you didn't seek it when you were divorced so it's now too late to do so.
