what forms need to be filed to adopt our grandson whom we have had temporary custody of for 9 years?

If the biological parents are alive, you will need either: (i) a Court order showing that their parental rights have been (voluntarily or involuntarily) terminated, or (ii) a document wherein they consent to your adoption of their children. You will also need to file a petition with the Court requesting approval of the adoption. I STRONGLY recommend that you hire a Maryland family law attorney to guide you through this process.
