what if husband abandons me and property

we jointly own this home- which was my family home and in my name for 32 years before i added him-i have had several offer to sell- but i do not know where he lives and the only response i get in e-mails If any, are fuck you! what are my choices????? if i die tomorrow- he gets my family home- how can i prevent this? on top of that he owes about 10k and has never upheld his end of the separation agreement- should i take him to small calaims court and find him at work or what! i am paying 1300 a month, plus vacant land i pay for, plus he never brings dog food which waas a part of our separation agreement! PLEASE ADVISE- THIS IS IN MARYLAND- I HAVE ALSO BEEN THREATENED BY HIS GIRFRIENDS TO KILL ME, HE HAS GUNS, BUT THE POLICE SAY THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO-

You can file for divorce on the ground of voluntary separation if you have been separated for a year. As part of the divorce you ask the court to order the home sold and the proceeds divided to account for your expenses, if there was no provision for this in your separation agreement. You will have to know where you could serve him with the divorce papers (work is ok) to get the case through the system. Consult an experienced family attorney for assistance.

Since you put his name on the deed, until you are divorced if one of you dies the other will become sole owner of the property, so the sooner you act the better.
