Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
My husband has a child with another person. She is not taking care of the child. We have gone to court in va and the awarded joint custody. She then moved to md and we went to court again pro bono and joint custody was granted again. The problem is the mother has had social serviced in her house 1 a week for 6 months then they stopped. Since then she has moved to a different county right after we went to court and now she is refusing to give us her address. We have since learned that the child is seeing a therapist in school who has been in contact w/ my husband. The therapist advised him that the mother is not complying with what she is asking and is going to be calling social services on her once again. The child mother is not cooperating with us and refused to compromise with us. I need help to let me know how to do this or to see if we can get someone to help.

If the mother is in violation of the joint custody order, your husband can file a petition for a show cause order which is essentially an effort to have the court hold her in contempt. The other option is to move for sole legal and/or residential custody so you can have more direct input in the child's life. You should consult with an experienced family attorney to assist you.
