Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

My ex husband and I divorced in PA and had a custody and child support agreement in that state. About 2 years ago, I relocated to MD with our two children. Since then, my ex moved to TN. What does this do to our custody agreement? What do I need to do to get paperwork in MD?

Your custody agreement is unaffected by either move, except that now, if necessary, you can enforce it in MD. If the agreement was incorporated into the divorce, as it should have been, there are interstate laws requiring your new state to honor the PA judgment and orders regarding custody and support.
