Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
My ex husband is ordered to pay child support for our three kids. He has to keep medical coverage for them until they are 18. Does that medical coverage include dental care? And who is responsible for copays and the bills, me or him? please help.....

Unless specifically required or specified in the Order, separation agreement, or Judgment of Absolute, dental coverage is not generally included as part of health insurance. Uninsured medical expenses such as co-pays, deductibles, etc. should have been spelled out in the Order, but if they are not, then they would generally be the responsibility of the custodial parent or the parent taking the children to the medical visit.
