Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
My ex husband has not payed child support and for 2 yrs. he has gone to court with his lawyer saying that he has had an accident or that he is sick and can not work, but he has his own business
the government helps him monthly with money and food stamps, but I know his business is doing very well. His name and his compony name is in google and the chamber of commerce. I don't have
money for a lawyer but I am willing to pay a lawyer with the money that he owes me.
I need the money because my son is going to college and wright now he can not work because he
was operated on his back.
Could a lawyer help me with this case?

Contact your local county bar association and inquire about their lawyer referral program. Depending on your income, you may be entitled to a reduced fee or even a free lawyer. If your ex was under a court order to pay support, you can file a contempt petition against him for failing to pay. However, bear in mind that your children are only entitled to support until they turn 18 or graduate from high school, whichever comes last, and not beyond age 19 in any event.
