Can my husbands lawyer tell him to stop paying my court order permanet alimony

His lawyer can say anything he wants, but he should not be advising your husband to defy a court order. Alimony may be modifiable if that were so stated in the Order and circumstances have changed that would warrant a modification, but he would have to file a motion to modify with the court.

It is irrelevant if your husband's lawyer instructs him to stop paying. If he is in violation of the divorce decree, you need to file a a motion for contempt. If the attorney advised him incorrectly, your husband and his attorney will have to explain it to the judge.
