Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Injunction was not enforced

I filed an injunction back in Sept. to stop my stbx from further dissapating anymore of the marital assests.

According to court records it was not done because he has now moved to foreclose on the marital property. (Only his name is on the deed and mortgage) but it is listed as contested property in court.

I contacted the mortgage company and they said there is nothing I can do about it. I understand that by my name not being on the title but I filed the motion in court, why has it not been enforced?

Re: Injunction was not enforced

Your injunction cannot prevent the mortgage company from exercising their foreclosure rights if the mortgage payments are delinquent. It only had the effect of ordering your stbx from dissipating marital assets.
