Jail and Child Support

I have already had part of my question answered, but now I am wondering...if my ex-husband goes to jail for a probation violation would they allow him to be a part of the work release program so that he could continue to support his children? He has no licence, by the way.

Possibly, depending on the charge, the length of time he is ordered to serve, and whether he is an employee (with a supervisor who can report his status), as opposed to being self-employed.
