joint marital residence

i live in the state of MD and want to seperate from my spouse, he refuses to leave the home so Im moving. If I leave will I lose my equity in the home due to desertion?

You will not lose equity in your house based on desertion. However, there are many other factors to consider, including having you leave the home not labeled as desertion. Contact a divorce lawyer, like myself, to protect your interests.
