Re: law

Court rules require you to copy the interrogatories and put your answer after each question. At the end, you put "I declare and affirm under penalty of perjury that the answers contained herein are true to the best of my knowledge". For the document request, you describe the documents you are providing in numbered paragraphs corresponding to the requests, and send the documents along with the response to the other party's lawyer. You are also required to file a discovery certificate with the court stating that you sent your resonses to the opposing party's lawyer, the date you did so, and by what means (mail, etc.).

You are obviously trying to represent yourself in a divorce matter which may involve important issues such as child custody, support, alimony and property disposition. The decisions that are made in this case will affect you for the rest of your life. The other party presumably has legal representation who knows the law and how to obtain and present evidence which will benefit his/her client to your detriment. You should seek legal representation as soon as possible. If you don't feel you can afford a lawyer, you may qualify for one on a reduced fee basis through your county bar association.

I just tried a divorce case yesterday against a party who was the one who initiated the suit, but never hired a lawyer. In court, he had no idea what he was doing. That mistake probably cost him at least $100000.
