If the records are relevant to the divorce case in some way, they become public records unless the judge puts restrictions on their release. If you want to protect your records, you will need to have an attorney file a motion to quash the subpoena before your company releases the records. You should speak to your personnel department right away to see what they plan to do in response to the subpoena. If they aren't going to bat for you, you will need to protect yourself. Without knowing more about the case, it's hard to understand what your personnel records have to do with someone else's divorce case.
