Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

How to Legalize a marriage entered into before a previous divorce granted

I have a question. Man marries women A in 1993. They separate in 1994. Man files for limited divorce in 1996 and was under the impression that the divorce was finalized at a hearing. Man marries wife B in Feb. 1998 but gets notice of a hearing regarding first divorce. Man goes to hearing in June 1998 to learn that prior divorce not final. Order of Divorce to wife A signed in June 1998, 4 months after Man's marriage to women B. Man did not tell Woman B. Eight years later woman B finds out, but does not leave Man. Wife B and Man searched the internet and learned that marriage is void. Can Man and Wife B have their marriage legalized?

Simply go and get married. Now that you are legally divorced there is no issue. Per Maryland law, in order for a binding marriage there you need a ceremony and a celebrant (i.e., pastor, priest, minister, etc.) or simply register at the court for marriage with a justice of the peace. Best wishes.
