Ex lied about home improvements

My ex submitted proposals and cash reciepts that a contractor completed quite a bit of work on our marital property.

I have found out myself and thru neighbors that none of the work was actually done!

I have subpeonad the contractor but have not actually spoken w/him about this, I want everyone taken by surprise!

What can happen to me ex for lying about this when we go to court?

It will call his credibility into question and may result in a larger marital award for you.
