lifetime alimony
Once you retire and are not receiving a income do you still have to pay alimony?

Upon retirement, you should file a petition with the court that awarded the alimony, seeking a modification of the award on the basis that you no longer have the income upon which the award was predicated. An experienced family attorney can assist you with this.

A judge may grant alimony to be paid whether or not you are retired. Significant issues appear to be present with your divorce for which you should strongly consider obtaining legal representation. 410.750.2567
