Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
Live in Maryland would like to terminate the parental rights of the father of my children. I don't have any extra funds to pay for a lawyer. He does not pay child support, doesnt' see the children in 3 years.

If the father is working you would be better off filing a petition for support, or if there is already a support order, filing a contempt petition. But whatever you do, you will need an attorney who practices family law, and if you qualify on income, you might be able to get a pro bono attorney through your county bar association.

Keep in mind that any claim for support cannot be back dated. So if you decide to wait this will not be recoverable. Contact an attorney for assistance with filing your complaint.
