Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I live in PG county MD and my wife and I are heading towards divorce. My question is she has "free" represntation from a friend of the family that's a lawyer and she knows both of us. Can I get her to recuse herself on the grounds that she knows personal information about the 2 of us and it's unfair to me? I had one lawyer give me feedback but he didn't answer my specific question.

Not unless she has represented you in another matter or you and your wife jointly in some other matter. The fact that she knows you personally would not disqualify her from representing your wife in divorce proceedings.
