Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
I live in the state of Maryland. I currently owe child support arrears to the state. Me and the custodial parent are now married and supporting the kids. Can the arrears be waved and if so, how do I go about it?

You should hire a Maryland family law attorney to clear it up. Best of luck.

You may be able to file a consent order with the court to waive or amend the current amount of arrears due for child support. However, you should contact the office of child support enforcement for the county where you reside to discuss any other issues and call this office or any other Maryland family law attorney for more information.
