How long does a divorce in Maryland take? If there are no properties, assists involve and only a possible pension....this is in the state of Maryland. Also would it state that they are able to see others in the pending divorce papers?

Once the petition is filed, a divorce in Maryland takes as little as a few months or can take years, depending on the facts of the case, how contentious the parties act toward each other, etc.

As much as you may want to, don't put the cart before the horse. If you see others prior to a final divorce decree being issued by the Court, it's called adultery!!! There's no way around that and it doesn't matter what the relationship is currently between you and your wife. SHE'S STILL YOU WIFE!!! You don't get to legally date before you get a divorce -- that's why you get a divorce.

Best of luck.*****The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
