Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

marriage laws in maryland

In the state of maryland the law says that if a minor (17) is pregnant (with proof from a physician) then parental concent for marriage is not needed. Does the same rule apply if the minor is a non-citizen (green card holder)

The child, if born in a state of America, is a citizen. Contact an attorney if you need assistance with immigration.
