Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

is my marriage valid

When i married my husband told he had been married once.I found out that he was married two times.He was still married to his first wife and was married to another women at the same time.When he left a second wife,when he obtained a divorse with firs wife.He never obtained a divorse from second wife and was married to me-third wife.

Questions:1.Did he need a divorse or annulment papers with second wife?

2.Is our marriage valid?

3.If my marriage is legal,can it be annuled?

If your husband was still married to his first wife when he married his second wife, that second marriage was invalid. If he then divorced his first wife before marrying you, then your marriage is probably valid. I doubt you can obtain an annulment, but you could certainly file for divorce if you have the grounds.
