Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I was married to a lady and we seperated while my child with her was 9 months old. She then became pregnant and I received papers to pay child support for that child that is not mine im still paying her 270.00 dollars a month and she also recived a lump sum of 30,000.00 dollars on mybehalf from social security which would is 11,000 dolars over payment of what i owed her. She and the child refuses to take paternity cause she knows the child isnt mine what can i do. The clid is grown now but im still paying her. I also know who the father is.

You could file a petition to establish paternity and as part of that the court would require dna tests to establish whether the child is yours. You say the child is "grown"--once the child turns 18 or finishes high school you no longer have to support him/her.
