Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I am Maryland resident, my wife filed for divorce in November 2009, and I had a we agreed that I am leaving the residency as of April 2010 however she dismissed the case and we reached a separation and Custody agreement first week of August, now I have to wait for one year from the date I moved out of the house in April until I can file for Absolute divorce, my question is does the court consider a religious reason to over ride the one year wait period since due to being religious I cannot have a sex with another women without being married. Please advice that is mean staying for Proxy. Two years without any sexual relations.

Is she still a Maryland resident? You can file for divorce in Maryland based on her residency. You also didn't say where you live now. Most states have residency requirements shorter than does Maryland. File in your new jurisdiction one you are eligible to do so.
