Maximum Sentence for Domestic Assault

Can anyone tell me what the maximum sentence for domestic assault in Maryland is?

If the crime is charged as a misdemeanor, it is punishable by up to 10 yrs. in prison and a $2500 fine. If it's more serious and therefore charged as a felony, the maximum sentence is 25 years.
