Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Military pay and child support

My stbx is Active Military. He also receives a monthly amount from the state of Md retirement system.

Of which in our divorce settlement I will be receiving half of that. I also, from a previous order already get $325 mo. CS from him.

My question is, or so I've been told, will my child also get his BAH?

He is also being deployed overseas in April, if that makes any difference!

Re: Military pay and child support

BAH is generally considered income and would be counted as such in a child support calculation. I don't believe the benefit would go directly to your child in its entirety.
