Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
money
My ex says I owe her money, she put a debt of mine on her credit card, without my cinsent, and now she is trying to hit me for the cash.
Initially I even tried to pay some back, but She asked me to stop contacting her and to leave her alone about a month ago. So the checks stop. She cleaned me out pretty well financially, and i do not feel a moral obligation to pay her back. Do I have a legal need to pay her?

Re: money
If your ex paid what was admittedly your debt, and you acknowledged this by starting to repay her, I think you've obligated yourself to pay the rest of it back. Whether she takes legal action against you to collect it remains to be seen.
