Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Obligee Responsibilities

In the state of Maryland, what are the obligees (custodial arent reciving support payments) responsibilities / requirements to notify the ''authorities'' of a material change in cirsumstances that would result in the modification of amounts.

For example, if the monthly support amount was $900 per month and included $300 for childcare expenses. What requirement or statutes ''require'' the obligee to notify the ''authorities'' when the childcare ceases to be provided / required. Especially whey the obligor would have no way to discover this information themselves.

Is there a statute that empirically states that the obligee like the obligor in 10-120(2) must notify the material change?

Re: Obligee Responsibilities

There is no statute requiring a parent receiving child support payments to notify the court or the other parent of a change of circumstances which would result in a reduction in child support. Most people who view the matter objectively would agree that there is some ethical obligation, but the law doesn't regulate all matters of ethics. There are a lot of ways in which someone can legally cheat another person.
