Order of default

I was wondering what an order of default means. I know that it means that I did not respond to the plea. But does that mean he gets an automatic divorce.

Re: Order of default

No, he would still be required to put on evidence of the marriage, separation, etc. and would need to have a corroborating witness testify as well. If there are additional issues (e.g., property, custody, child support, etc.), it would be in your best interest to file a motion to vacate the default.
