Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I am currently paying child support. Now I am going back to my country. What happens.

Pls advise.

It depends which country you are returning to. Some countries have Federal-level reciprocity agreements with the United States to enforce child support agreements abroad. Some don't. If you currently owe more than $5,000 in past due child support, your passport can be suspended (thus preventing you from leaving the country altogether).

With that said, you do nothing but hurt the child if you try and skip out on your child support obligations.
