Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Im payiny court order childsupport and i found out that she did not file it downtown just fax it to my job. So they have no record of me as paying childsurpport.So if i lose my job then she can just said i never paid surpport and ask for more money. I was paying full amount every two weeks till i found out the city was not taking it but my job. I call payroll and they said it was faxed to them by her lawyer. what do i do?

If there is a court order for child support it is in the court record. Any payments you make directly to the mother should be by check so your canceled check becomes a receipt. If your employer received an earnings withholding order from the court they must start deducting the support from your paycheck, and your paystub would reflect that.
