Although perjury is a criminal offense, it's highly unlikely that you could persuade a prosecutor to pursue charges against the alleged perjurer, especially if the perjury occurred in a civil lawsuit between private parties. The attorney representing the other party should know how to use a provably false statement to impeach the credibility of the witness.
