Personal Property

I have changed residence and cannot retrieve my personal possesions. What can I do to gain possesion on my belongings?

You have to go to the District Court in your county and file a suit known as a replevin action. The clerk will give you the complaint form to fill out. You state the facts including a description of the property being wrongfully withhold and ask the court to order the defendant (person retaining possession of the property) to return it to you.
